i'm going to research each one and give a concise explanation here.
the first through third dimensions are probably universally understood, but defining them gives good reference points as we get into the unfamiliar ones later on, so excuse my restating the obvious.
let's start at the very beginning: dimension zero.
dimension zero doesn't really exist, it is purely imaginary and discussed for reference purposes only. it is best understood by using the example of the point. that's right, like in geometry.
a point exists in space, but it has no depth, length, or width, or volume.
